Originally started in late 2019 as Off This Reef with our late friend Riley Parker, the original lineup was Kap, Riley, and Zachary. After Petey joined the band, we changed the name to “Riley P. & The Regs.” As the Regs, we developed our style and built our sound, learning that the regular rules of music don’t apply to us.

After Riley’s struggle with depression and his own mental health, Riley sadly passed in late 2021. We did not know what to do. We didn’t have any direction or energy, and for a long time it felt like that was it.

Starting in 2023, we decided to start playing together again. It wasn’t great. We kept going anyway. In 2024, we decided to push harder and start playing live again, but we needed a name. Zachary had woken up from a dream at around 4 AM on an early spring morning and sent one text: “SusAF—that’s the name.” And it was.

From then on, we kept pushing and pushing, getting better and better, playing as much as we could. Now we start a new chapter: the release of our EP. We look forward to sharing our music with you. Keep an eye on us.
